Great grandmother of Nuria Hassan and Arian Hassan. Daughter of the late Nzioka Kiama and the late Catherine Nzioka of Miwani lower Kiandani, Machakos County. Sister of the Late John Kiseli, the late Fred Makau, the late Anna Mwikali, the late Jackson Kivaya, Peter Munyao, David Ben and Annastacia Mbula. Daughter-in-law of the late Josiah Kilela Musei and the late Vilisa Kavindu of Majimboni, Shimba-Hills, Kwale County. Sister-in-law of Joseph Henry, the late James Muthama, Daniel Muoki, the late Patrick Mukua, Judah Sila, Joyce Mutuota and the late Jacinta Mutile. Family and friend are meeting daily at their home at Katheka Kai, Mua Ward, Near Katethya Secondary School from 4pm. The Cortege will leave Montezuma funeral home, Machakos on Monday 3rd August 2026 at 5pm for an overnight Vigil at the home. The Funeral Mama Selestina Service will be held on Tuesday 4th August 2026 at St Stephen's Catholic Church, Katheka Kai from 9am. Thereafter, burial will Veronica Matilu take place at their home at Kikuluni Village, Katheka Kai 2nd Timothy 4:7~"I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith"

It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing on of Maurice 'Monye' Bubba born on 3rd July 1964, which occurred on 29th July 2026. Beloved son of Esther Mumbua Vuva and the late Harrison Solomon Bubba. Brother of Faith Nduku, Ndinda and Richard Mwongo, Mark Makau and Monica Kerrets-Makau, Jacklyne and Timothy Malna. Cherished cousin, uncle, grandfather and friend to many. The funeral service will be held on Friday 31st July. 2.00pm at St Barnabas Ottende - Langata. Burial In Machakos at his place in Mumbunt at 11.00am on Monday 3rd August 2026. It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Margaret Kalekye Musyoki, who was born on 12th January 1946 and peacefully passed away on 26th July 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Musyoki Mutula, daughter of the late Joel Kiili and the late Phyllis Ndungwa and daughter-in-law of the late Mutula Manguu and Naomi Mutula. She was a loving sister of the late Peter Makau Kiili, Julius Nzomo Kiili, Agnes Kasyoki, the late Joseph Mutuku, Benson Mutunga, the late George Muisyo Kiili, the late Rose Muili, Esther Njiraini and the late William Kilonzo. She was a cherished sister-in-law of the late Phillip Mutula, Justina Mutinda Mutula and Catherine Mwikali Mutula. She was a devoted mother of Stephen Kimanzi Musyoki, the late Thomas Musai Musyoki, Bob Kiili Musyoki, Shiela Ndungwa Musyoki and Jackline Moraa Musyoki. She was mother-in-law of Christine Akinyi, Esther Waga and Louis Huegen. She was a proud grandmother of Marvin Mutua, Peter Mutunga, Precious Kalekye, Monica Mbithe, Alvin Musai, Bella Musai, Churchill Musai, Abel Kiili. Ashley Kiili, Lanise Jenkins Hooke and Ester Kalekye Van Tuel. She was great grandmother of Maryanne Mutua, Vivian Musai Hilton, Ramses Stanley Hilton, Jayson Mutua and Steve Mutua. Funeral service and burial will be held on Wednesday, 5th August 2026, at her home in Mukalwa Village, Sengani, Tala. Job 1:21 ~ Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked shall I return there. WOI Johnstone Kioko, Elizabeth Katile, late Nicholas Mwanzia, Rose Nthenya, Dorothy Ndinda and Janet Kanyiva. He was brother of the late Kasiva, the late Joel, the late David, Mutiso, Rose Munee, Nduva, Muasya, Musembi, and Mary. He was a loving grandfather of Kalekye, Ndinda, Johnny. Tony, Mueni, Mtush, Mutinda, Steve Kasee, Snow, Faith Ndungwa, Muia, Lee and Stevo. And great- grandfather of Aida and many others. He was father-in-law of late Winnie Nzilani and Winnie Kioko and Peter Mutuku. He was uncle of Charles Munyao, Rtd. Major Mumo and many others. The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Machakos on Tuesday 4th August 2026 at 8:30am for funeral service at AIC Kasinga church. Burial will take place the same day at his home in Mukuni, Kasinga village, Mumbuni Sub location, Machakos County. Family and friends are meeting daily at his home every day at 4pm.

Betty Mutio Munguti
With heavy hearts but trusting in God's perfect will, we announce the demise of Betty Mutio Munguti, who passed away on 5th July 2026 in Delaware, USA, after a short illness. She dedicated her life to teaching and over the years, served in several schools across Machakos County before retiring. She was the beloved daughter of the late James Munguti and the late Sarah Nzau. She was the loving mother of Dr. Mercy Williams, Sylvia Mueni, Anthony Miron and Caroline Kwanya. She was a beloved grandmother of II grandchildren and had one great-grandchild. She was the loving sister of the late Susan, the late Nthambi, the late Nzau, Mutiso, Muthini, Munyaka and Muoti. She was a sister-in-law of William Ziro, Mary Mutiso, Emily Munyaka, the late Benjamin and Livu Ivuli. She was mother-in-law of Jide Daramola, Zachary Kwanya and Nancy Ngari. She was a devoted guardian and mother figure of Mambo, Ngina, Tom and Vicky. She was a loving aunt of Safari, Saro, Fahari, Mwende, Mutua, Mbisi, the late Kyalo, Mutio, Nthenya, Muthoki, Mbithe and Nzau and a cousin to many. Family, relatives, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Itimboni, Kyumbi, Machakos. The funeral service will be held on Friday. 7th August 2026, at C.R.E.M. Community Church, Kyumbi, followed by burial at her home in Itimboni, Kyumbi (Mulinge Drive) Machakos.
