He was the son of Martin Matheka Muia (of KCB Bank) and Faith Wawira Matheka. Brother of Ken Jim and Favor. Grandson of late Edward Nthoka and Serah Wanjiru, the late James Njagi and Jane Muthoni. Nephew of Aloise, Janet, Charity, Eunice, Esther, Edwin Winfred, Godfrey and Daisy. Cousin of Emma, Pamela, Caroline, Angela, Eva, Newton, Gina, Charles, Neo and Paul. Uncle of Vandin, Darius, Declan, Anaya and Ayaan. The cortege leaves Mwea Mission Hospital & Funeral Home on Saturday 1st August, 2026 at 8:00am for burial at their rural home in Kirinyaga County Mwea East Sub-County Tebere Location Kiarukungu Sub-Location Mbambaini Village.
