A dear mum of Stella Wataro and David Muturi, the late Alice Wambui, Amos Njoroge & Lucy Nduta, Simon Ng'ang'a Kinyanjui & Irene Mukami, John Ngigi & Jane Wanjiku, the late Peter Mbugua, Lucy Njeri & Isaiah Waweru. Sister of Patricia Wanja, Agnes Wanjiku and Felister Njeri. Grandmother, Great- grandmother and friend to many. Friends and family are meeting daily at 4.00PM for daily service at her home in Githiga, lhiga next to Githiga High School. There will be a mass at her home in Ihiga Village on Friday the 7th August 2026 at 4PM. The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home in Githunguri Town on Wednesday the 12th August 2026 at 9.00AM for a Funeral service at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church - Githiga at 11AM, followed by an interment at her home in Ihiga, next to Githiga High School. Eternal rest grant unto her O' Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen!

It is with profound sadness, but with thanksgiving, that we announce the passing of Isabell Silava (Nthamba) Muroki on 1st August 2026, after an illness bravely borne. Isabell was the beloved wife of Fredrick Muroki Grieve and the loving mother of Stephen Mungal Muroki. She was the daughter of the late Tabitha and Stephen Musylmi Kisilu of Riakanau, Mwea, Embu County. She was the sister of the late David Kisilu Musyimi, Kim Musylmi, Mutava Musyimi, John Musyimi, Rahab Mulu. Litha Musylmi-Ogana, and Zippy Musyimi. She was the sister-in-law of Mary Nyadundu, the late Geoffrey Njunge, Francis Njenga, John Kairu, Ann Ngoiri, Esther Nyokabi, the late Daniel Blaru, Rosemary, Ruth Musylmi, Nyambura Musylmi, and the late Eng, Sam Mulu. She was a beloved aunt of Tabitha, Hellen, the late Musee, Mwikali, Joshua, Tana, Ula, Musee, Eva, Mueni, Syano, Mull, Stephen, Mwanzia, Janet, Silava, Victor, Stephen, Tanya, Biku, Mwende, Wanjiku and Thumbi, among many others, and many loving cousins from the Muroki and Kisilu families. Family meetings will be held daily at her family home in Rironi from Monday 3rd August, to Monday. 10th August, 2026. Funeral meetings will also be held on Wednesday, 5th August, at Nairobi Baptist Church at 5:30 p.m., and on Thursday, 6th August, at All Saints Cathedral at 5:30 p.m. A thanksgiving service celebrating Isabell's life will be held at her home church, St. Emmanuel ACK Church, Riakanau, Embu, on Sunday, 9th August 2026, at 10:30a.m. The cortege will leave M.P. Shah Hospital Mortuary at 9:00 am on Tuesday, 11th August 2026, for the funeral service at ACK All Saints Kamonde, which will begin at 11:00 a.m. She will thereafter be laid to rest at her home in Rironi at 2:00 p.m.

With deep sorrow and humble acceptance, we the Njogu family announces the peaceful passing of Mzee Njogu on 26th July 2026 in his sleep at Kikuyu PCEA Mission Hospital. Mr. Njogu was a loyal and dedicated a former Senior Civil Servant who served as a District Officer (D.O.) (Nyayo House) and later as under Secretary in the Ministry of Lands (Athi House) and the Ministry of Education (Jogoo House). He was the beloved husband of the late Zianalda Njogu and the loving father of Dennis Njogu (Office of the President -OOP). He was the brother of the late Engineer Nyamu, the late Arthur Nyamu (formerly Ministry of Roads), and Rosemary Humbu, and the brother-in-law of Lucy Wangari Nyamu. He was the cherished uncle of Martin Humbu, Anthony Wamwert, and Elizabeth Humbu. Mzee Njogu was laid to rest on 30th July 2026 at the family graveyard in Mwalmuto, Kiambu County. The burial service was officiated by St. John's Anglican Church, Mwalmuto, In conjunction with the Orthodox Church of Kenya. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Avenue Hospital, where he had previously received treatment, and to Kikuyu PCEA Mission Hospital for their dedicated care. We also sincerely thank St. John's Anglican Church, Mwalmuto, and the Orthodox Church of Kenya for their spiritual support during this difficult time. Our sincere appreciation goes to Dennis Njogu's friends who attended the burial ceremony, as well as to the Director General and all the Directors for their generous messages of condolence and unwavering support.
