Ruth Mutete Maundu

It is with humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, relative, and friend, Ruth Mutete Maundu, who passed away on Tuesday. 21 July 2026, after a short illness following a severe asthmatic attack.
She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Maundu Lole. She was the loving mother of David Kyule Maundu, the late Rose Katunge, Engineer Samson Nyika Maundu, Inspector Nick Matheka Maundu, and Elizabeth Mutinda Maundu (Deputy Principal, Bishop Paul Mutua Senior School).
She was mother-in-love of the late Juliana Mwende, Joyce Kyule, Phyllis Nyika, Hellen Matheka, and John Muli (Principal, St. Stephen Musaalani); and a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great- grandmother to many.
Family and friends are meeting from Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th July 2026 at Holy Family Basilica, from 6:00 PM, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Friday, 31 July 2026, at 9:00 AM. The funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday, 1 August 2026, at 10:00 AM, at her home in Utu Village, Nzambani Location, Kambu Division.
