The Life of Rosemary
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing of Rosemary C. Muthoni Baru Kabul, who passed away at Outspan Hospital, Nyeri, on<b> 22nd July 2026</b>, following a short illness. She was formerly a teacher at Mathaithi and Gaturiri Primary Schools. She was the beloved wife of Ephantus Baru Kabul, former Deputy Principal of Kirimara Secondary School and former Principal of Klandere Mixed Day Secondary School, Nyeri Central.
She was a devoted and loving mother of Martin Baru (Uganda), Dennis Mwangi (Businessman, Nairobi), and Charles Gichu (Institute of Public Finance, Nairobi) She was a proud and loving grandmother of Hotani Baru and Imani Muthoni, and a beloved aunt to many. She was a cherished sister of Thomas Mukundi, ILate Earnest Gachage, Peter Kingara, Nancy Njeri, Lucy Wanjiru, Ruth Wakari, Freshla Gathiru, late John Kariuki, late Patrick Malba, and Jane Munyutha. Sister-in-law of late Charles Gichu Kabul, late Lucy Weru, late Charity Wamwangi. late Edward Malna, Eustus Michira, Nancy Mugure, Mary Ndegwa, Meshack Kirira, and Reuben Mwaniki.
The cortege will leave Jamil Funeral Home on <b>Friday, 31st July 2026</b> at 8.00 am, for a funeral service at P.C.E.A. Mathaithi Church, followed by Interment at her home In Mathaithi,Mukurweni Junction, along the Karatina-Nyeri Road, next to Mathaithi Primary School.
