The Life of Newman
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the passing of Mr. Newman Munga Mbai, of the NG-CDF Board, Nairobi.
He was the beloved husband of Esther Wangari. A loving father of Alvin Kariuki, Auriel Waithira, and Austin Mbai.
He was the son of Mr. Christopher Munga Mbai and Consolata Waithira Munga. A brother of Livingstone Karanja, the late Eddy Ndong'o, and Brenda Wangari.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Membley Estate, to offer prayers, comfort, and support to the family during this difficult time. A Requiem Mass will be held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on Wednesday, 12th August 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
The cortege will depart from KU Referral Funeral Home (Northern Bypass) on Thursday, 13th August 2026, at 8:00 a.m., for the final journey to the family farm in Samar, Maragua, Murang'a County, where the burial ceremony will take place.
