Mama Marcela Ahare Aguda ("Mathe")

It is with profound sorrow, and the humble acceptance of God's will that we announce the death of Mama Marcela Ahare Aguda ("Mathe"). that occurred on the 24th of July 2026.

Marcela was the daughter of the late Carillus Ouma and the late Mama Teresa Abwanda of Kapuonja, Kisumu County. She was beloved wife of the late Mzee John Aguda Amol of Seme, Reru. She was sister of the late Agnes, the late Omenya, the late Sulmena, and Angelina Ndalo.

She was devoted mother of the late Aloyce Mbeka, Gertrude, the late Lewtina, the late Antonina, the late Florence Oluoch, Florence Githieya, Linus, Karoli, Agatha, Daniel, Paulo and Edwin. She is mother-in-law of Mercy, George, the late Kenneth, Churchill, Benson, Caroline, Milly. Cyprian, Elizabeth, and Moureen.

She was a cherished grandmother and great grandmother to many.
Burial arrangements are ongoing at her home in Seme, Reru and Azuri premier (NHC House) Nairobi. A fundraising Harambee to help cover

the heavy hospital bills and offset funeral expenses will be held today, 6th August 2026 at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, starting at 4:00 p.m.
The cortège will leave Montezuma Funeral Home Nairobi on the 13th of August 2026 for burial on the 14th of August 2026 at her Home in Seme, Reru-Kisumu County.
