It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of <b>Engineer Washington Mbuno</b>, who departed this life on Friday, <b>17th July 2026</b>, at around 3:00 am after a courageous fight with illness.
Engineer Washington was the beloved son of the late Joseph Mbuno Kimanthi and the late Gladys Margaret Mukabane Mbuno, and a loving father of Swaleh Mbuno (IPOA), Eng. Khadijah Mbuno (Ex Kenyatta University), and Stanley Mbuno (Maseno School).
He was brother of the late Elijah Andika Mbuno, the late Simon Makove Mbuno, Daudi Mbuno (Mpeketoni), Ezekiel Mbuno, Geoffrey Mbuno, Naomi Mbuno and Yusuf Mbuno, EBS (Ex Chief Executive Officer NGCDF Board).
Engineer Family, relatives, and friends are meeting Washington Mbuno
daily from <b>6:00pm</b> at <b><b>The Bonds Garden</b>,
Upperhill,</b> Nairobi to offer prayers and support to the family. Financial contributions may be sent via <b>Paybill number: 481565, account name: SENDER'S NAME</b>.
The cortege will leave <b>Montezuma Funeral Home (Nairobi)</b> on <b>Saturday, 1st August 2026,</b> 6:00AM, for burial the same day at his father's farm in Masongaleni village, Kibwezi East Constituency, Makueni County.
